Meetings:
Third Wednesday of each month (except January)
10am - 3pm
Mount Alexander Golf Club
Wimble St, Castlemaine.
At this meeting members work on individual or group projects and
there is a general meeting. Frequent guest speakers and shared luncheons.
Visitors are most welcome to attend.
Special Interest groups meet regularly:
- Saturday Group.
- Counted Thread Group.
- Conservation and Historical Studies Group.
- Nifty Needles (machine embroidery and surface embellishment).
- Junior Group (catering for ages 10-16) meets for an all day workshop on the first Saturday of every school term.
As well we provide:
- A lively and informative monthly newsletter .
- A biennial exhibition - our next in 2009 - in conjunction with the Castlemaine State Festival.
- An annual retreat in the Grampians.
- Workshops, classes, outings and social events .
