50TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION
CASTLEMAINE ART GALLERY
Alice Clague

One of the exciting events planned for our golden anniversary year is an exhibition recognising the work of every Guild member who has received Guild honours over the past 50 years. Guild honours are awarded for outstanding service to the Guild as a whole, or for selfless service in a particular branch or field of expertise.
This exhibition will be at Castlemaine Art Gallery, opening in May 2010. The Gallery aims to present works by every Guild member who has received an award. We have contact details for many and I will shortly be contacting those members where a contact address is already known. However, information about some of these people is proving difficult to source. Do you know the whereabouts of embroidered pieces by any of the following? Alternatively you may know the name and address of a relative; this would also be valuable information.
Life Members: Geraldine Amies, Ethel Oates, Edna Coleman, Mary Bostock, Marjorie Powell, Edna Wark, Vera Soliague, Phyllis Brown.
Book of Honour Award: Jean MacIntyre, Thelma Crawford, Muriel Thorn, Margaret Atkinson, Trixie King.
Service Awards: Floris Houston, Joyce Hall, Daisy Dundas, Jean Drury-White, Margaret (Peg) Smith.
If you are able to assist would you please forward details to:
